Understanding & Preparing for Perimenopause, Menopause & Beyond
This event isn’t just for women currently moving through perimenopause or menopause, it’s for all women. Every woman will experience these life stages at some point, and it’s something that deserves to be understood much earlier in life. Honestly, why are we busy learning at school algebra instead of the things that actually impact our wellbeing and daily lives…
Even our understanding of perimenopause is still evolving. It can begin up to 10 years before menopause, sometimes as early as the mid-30s, with the average age around the mid-40s. Many symptoms aren’t recognised as part of this transition and often get put down to simply “getting older”. They’re frequently misunderstood, misdiagnosed, or brushed off entirely, and menopause training still isn’t mandatory in GP education. Even after menopause, supporting the body and overall wellbeing often requires different approaches than before.
Menopause is a natural life stage, struggling with symptoms doesn’t have to be. Women can experience a broad range of symptoms, from joint pain, anxiety, frozen shoulder, night-time urination, tinnitus and low libido, through to hair changes, heart palpitations, gut issues, and fatigue. Many women find that these symptoms affect confidence, energy, relationships, and even work. This stage of life also comes with important health considerations, including an increased risk of cardiovascular changes after menopause.
At Sensory Vibes, the focus will be on what to look out for and how to support your body through these shifts using a holistic, whole-body approach, helping you feel more connected, informed, and empowered, no matter your age or stage. You’ll also enjoy food and beverages on the night, and we’ll move through some gentle stress-management tools to support your nervous system. Everything shared will also support women who are taking HRT.

Why We’ve Partnered with Sunday Sip
Founded by Natalie in 2018, Sunday Sip Lives was inspired by cherished Sunday afternoons spent with her gran, filled with conversation, laughter, music and togetherness. What began as intimate gatherings has grown into a thriving platform creating safe, welcoming spaces for open conversations around health and wellbeing.
Our collaboration feels especially aligned. Natalie’s personal journey with endometriosis connects closely with the theme of this event. As women move into perimenopause and menopause, changing hormone levels can influence symptom patterns, pain experience, and overall wellbeing. Endometriosis can make this transition feel different or more unpredictable, which is why support and open conversation are especially valuable.
